Officially Official: TNWR podcast renamed to…

I thought I would get this out now before we record the show tomorrow: the TechNest Weekly Report (TNWR) that has been going 6 episodes strong (might I add – weekly) is going to be renamed.  What’s the new name?  Nothing scary, cold, or unusual – it will be named TechNest Report podcast.

Why have I chosen to rename it? A few reasons, in no particular order:
- I don’t want to limit it to being only weekly – I might want to podcast more often (wouldn’t you want that?)
- It fits in better with the TechNest Report community and brand: the name is TechNest Report, not TechNest Weekly Report
- It’s easier to say: TNR podcast vs. TNRW.  TNR podcast just flows off the tongue.
- It will fit easier with the category structure: each release of the podcast is categorized under “podcast” in our CMS.

So when you hear the show tomorrow, don’t be shocked.  I have also decided to continue the numbering of the Weekly Report, so tomorrow’s show will be TechNest Report podcast – episode 7.
