		<description>The fact that it&#039;s Google behind it is what&#039;s &quot;new.&quot; To me, that&#039;s exciting for several reasons:
1) There is a new OS on the block
2) It&#039;s free and will have a different revenue model behind it (like Android)
3) It&#039;s Linux-based - like you said (like Android) which means that after years of hoping for market share gains, Linux may finally gain large market share on the desktop. 

All in all, I think the integration with Google&#039;s cloud services will be what&#039;s most interesting here.</description>

		<description>i tried Chrome OS and it is pretty much like a scaled down version of Ubuntu. Chrome is just based on Linux and there is nothing new about it.
